Tamara Landicho, M.A.
Behavioral Program Manager
Tammie started to work in the ABA field as a Behavior Technician in 2016 while attending the University of California, Davis to earn her B.A. degree in Psychology and B.S. in Human Development. She has worked with a wide range of clients from as young as 2 years old to 19 years old. The passion to be in this field was apparent from the start when her cousin with Autism was first diagnosed. Seeing how ABA therapy affected her cousin and loved ones around her, this experience motivated her to step into the ABA field to learn more about it. Tammie began her next step to become a skillful clinician in 2017 and graduated in 2019 from Ball State University in Indiana to earn her M.A. degree in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Tammie has taken the time to develop her clinician skills these past 8+ years to offer the best quality of care for her clients. She aims to support the client and the client’s families to achieve socially significant goals and functional skills for her client. Tammie believes the shift towards a naturalistic ABA approach is not only compassionate, but highlights her client’s strengths while cultivating a more independent and better quality life for her clients. She is very thoughtful regarding the client’s boundaries and capabilities, and will always ensure that collaborating with the client’s family along with her support will be the key to ensure that the client’s goals will be achieved!
In her free time when Tammie isn’t working, she loves to spend time with her family and loved ones. When she decides to get out of the house, she loves to go out to try new boba shops, go to concerts, or plan the next place to travel to. At home, you can find her playing her instruments and singing, playing video games, or watching something on Netflix!
