Introducing Joyscape Therapy’s Blog & Podcast!

Hey, how well do you know your BCBA ethics code? Feeling confident? Ok pop quiz, what is section 6.02?

Got it? Disseminating Behavior Analysis!

“Section 6.02 of the Code, “Disseminating Behavior Analysis” requires BCBAs to make information about behavior analysis available to the public—achieved through discussions, presentations, or other media—in a way that promotes the science of behavior analysis while adhering to all applicable aspects of the code.”

Here at Joyscape, we’re interested in disseminating our science through complex conversations with our unique clinicians, other professionals in the field of ABA and beyond. We’d like to do so in a way easily accessible and digestible by professionals as well as caregivers and the plain old curious. So, say hello to our very first blog post. And what a better way to introduce the Joyscape blog than by using it to introduce the Joyscape podcast! The field of applied behavior analysis is ever growing and changing. Join us as we continue to grow and change alongside our field. Our goal is to inform and spread our wonderful model, focusing on naturalistic child-led therapy. We are passionate about focusing on self-empowerment and self-advocacy with our work and believe our clients are the best teachers to show us how they want to learn.

Future blog posts will include information for families, professionals, podcast episodes and good old Joyscape fun!
